Though I've
played several shows over the years in New England, this
will be my first concert in Vermont and I'm really looking
forward to it. It's a worthy cause, so I hope you can come
join us. I'll be doing a small outdoor show for about 100
people, to benefit a young child who needs a bone
marrow operation.

James Robert Giroux was born on
June 2, 2003 to Jennifer and Rick. He has two older
brothers, Ricky age 8 and Joey age 4. In February 2004
Jimmy was diagnosed with acute myelomonocytic leukemia, a
subtype of myeloid leukemia. Jimmy has been hospitalized
since February 24th. In order to care for Jimmy, his
mother, Jen, has taken an unpaid leave of absence from her
position as a speech and language pathologist at the
Colchester Middle School. Jimmy's father, Rick, continues
to work as the night manager at Hannaford's on North
Avenue in Burlington. Baby Jimmy is soon going to need a
bone marrow transplant.
